The River

There are many creeks and streams through out the forest, but one way or another most of them join this river at some point before joining the lake on the valley floor. The river varies in width and deepness from location to location but it's always cold. It is a good place to catch fish and hunt. There are several swimming spots. Be careful around the river in the spring though, as the increased snow melt can cause it to swell and become more dangerous.
